I love chickens and had a chance to stay in a converted chicken coop (yes rally) in Boone a few years ago. I took the opportunity to take a lot of photos of the animals on this vacation. Something cool about this painting? The canvas was painted a bright red, before the image was painted and it peeks through here and there wotgive a little jolt of unexpected complimentary color.
