I painted this original watercolor during the annual Southport Plein Air Festival in May 2024.
This popular spot was tricky to paint. Most decent views of the popular seafood shop were directly in the midday sun. I managed to find one shady tree near a construction sign where I set up my easel and paint for the afternoon, one of Southport, NC's most popular locations.
The watercolor painting measures 14" h x 11" w and is matted to 20" x 16"
