This painting depicts an area of Raleigh, NC that is rapidly undergoing some change. The red building at the center was the former Berkeley Cafe, hosting live music and cheap eats. It will be torn down soon to make way for new hi-rise buildings. You can vaguely sees ome cranes in the background and new structures under construction behind it. I especially love the rainbow sculpture and the three kids walking past it in the lower left.  Painted in watercolor on archival 100% cotton rag paper.
